Guatamala Volcano Pacaya Violently Erupts – Villages Evacuated

Late Thursday evening, violent eruptions of the Guatemala volcano Pacaya prompted President Colom to declare a “state of calamity.” About 25 miles south of Guatemala City, this volcano in Guatemala is known for near-continuous activity. This Guatemala volcano, combined with tropical storms and earthquakes, is causing a dangerous situation.

State of calamity declaration prompted by Guatemala volcano

In areas surrounding Guatemala City, a “state of calamity” has been declared because of the Guatemala volcano. A “state of calamity” in Guatemala is much like a “state of emergency” in other nations – it authorizes government assistance with disaster efforts. There have been 1,600 people evacuated from villages including Amatitalan, El Patrocinio, El Rodeo, and more. The government will be providing emergency money to these residents, the shelters and others affected by the Guatemala volcano. Residents of Guatemala City are being told to remain inside because of the Guatemala volcano.

While attempting to report on the Guatemala volcano, cameraman Anibal Arcila was hit on the head and killed by falling debris from Pacaya. There are also three small children that have been reported missing during the evacuation. There have also been reports of 20 or more injuries as a result of the falling ash and debris. The Guatemala City international airport has been shut down because of the extreme layers of ash and mud.

Tropical storms increase danger from Guatemala volcano

The Guatemala volcano chain that Pacaya is on is comparatively active. There are many lava rivers that have been popular tourist destinations on Pacaya. A small earthquake accompanied the initial eruption of Pacaya, which sent ash, volcanic rock, and debris 1,500 meters into the sky. Rainwater from a tropical storm is mixing with the ash and coating the earthquake-riddled area. The sticky muck created by this combination is coating everything within 50 miles or more of the Pacaya volcano.

What Will Happen In The Year 2012?

The Mayan Calendar has left us with an extreme mystery. Acadamia, science and the clergy have worked long over the question as to why the calendar was extrapolated into the 21st century and why, on December 21st, 2012, it brusquely ends?

Writers are picking up on the subject as rumination and ideas are rising. From a scientific viewpoint, the prophecy is nothing less than clinical. Around the date December twenty-one, 2012, the galaxy will be fully aligned, an event with a reappearance of 26,000 years. Nobody truly knows the implication of this, though many have theorized that there will be massive influence on our weather systems, earthquakes will be induced, volcanoes will explode and tsunamis will be in force.

A more pragmatic prediction, based on what them planet has been forced to endure during the past, is that it will very probably see this thru.

The effect on population isn’t clear to any one at that point. [However ,] it is believed by science the Mayan Calendar, which is founded upon a 26,000 year cycle, will return to the beginning of its cycle.

To compute that even six of the Lord God’s days does not equal the life of our planet is to blindly assume that the Almighty worked his wizardry on consecutive days.

With the upcoming advent of this cycle on December 21st, 2012, a belief is held that we are going to be entering this 7th day. This “day of rest”, or “Sabbath Rest” will begin a season of peace for humankind.

Evil and sickness will be overthrew and Christ will return to steer his folks. Many espouse the idea that the dead will return to take a role in this heavenly reward.

With 2 plus years to ponder the situation, it’s going to be “interesting” making an attempt to decide which debate will survive.

Know The Truth About The Dec 21 2012 Polar Shift

There has been a lot of talks, speculations, predictions, and fear among the people of different races about the Dec 21 2012 polar shift, especially those who understand this event the way on the basic level. These have also created ways for religious fanatics and small sects to establish legitimacy on the claims of the end of the world. And after the movie 2012 has been shown worldwide, the level of interest and the intensity of fear just intensify. What is this date the most awaited date? {Why is it so important}?

By definition, “end of time” means end of the world, but to the Mayans, it was only a cycle—a calendar, a measure of time. Known for the accuracy of their calendar, the Mayans knew that the earth enters a new cycle every 25,625 years or equal to one galactic day—the period where the earth has revolved around the galaxy.

Nostradamus was also believed to have a predicted that there will be a solar alignment where the earth, sun and the center of the galaxy. This can be seen in his lost book. In his computation, this happens every 13,000 years.

Albert Einstein, the Egyptians, the Sumerians, Copernicus, and other people and groups also legitimized astrological facts that direct the polar shift that will happen in 2012.

But no matter how we see it, think of it or study so hard about it, what will happen Dec 21 2012 polar shift is still unknown. We just have to hope for the best and try to live everyday the fullest.
