The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the first 11 days, but EVERY 11 days. Can it be possible? Does the weight loss handbook really work?
I definitely was pretty skeptical when I heard about it from my brother.
But after searching for something that works without having to kill myself in the process, I went ahead and bought. The handbook is a diet cycle that lasts 11 days and you can repeat it with different food to continue losing the pounds. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.
Did the weight loss diet handbook work? Did I Lose 9 Pounds Like What the Handbook Claimed?
Although I did not lose the 9 pounds as mentioned in the handbook, my results were pretty close. I was lossing 8.3 pounds through the first cycle of the idiot proof diet. I even started to see results within the first week of the diet.
It is really easy to follow without any complicated rules or procedures. Plus, besides that that I paid for the weight loss guide book, there wasn’t other programs that I had to purchase besides that.
The food on the diet is easily found and best of all, I could find food that don’t need much cooking so I could get my meal ready in less than 5 minutes.
Diet…Will I have to Starve Myself?
Whenever I spoke to anyone on my new found treasure, they would start asking if starving is needed and explanations on how they will not be able to keep away from food.
However, there is no need to starve yourself in this diet. And…you will be able to eat 4 meals per day! Yes, just my simply eating more meals a day, your body will be kept constantly working on the food. This increase in the metabolism rate in your body helps you to burn more calories than before.
Then, the next question…which are the types of food we had to shun?
Of course, if you are wolfing down dozens of deep fried chicken wings each day, you can’t expect yourself to be dropping pounds. However, you will still get to eat your favourite food before the second round of the idiot proof diet. I will tell you more about that in awhile.
Now, you will still be able to eat your pastas. You will have the choice of eating meat (Yay!), egges, cheese and of course, fruits and vegetables. This diet, unlike the other diets, ensures that you will be dropping pounds without you having to affect your nutrients. Hence, there is no need to worry about need to see a doctor for the lacking of nutrients from the diet.
Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part
You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? You will crave for food that you cannot have. Yes, it is true that when you have something that you cannot have, you will want it more.
I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after a month or so, I would usually give up on the diet as the results don’t come fast enough and it is just way too much sacrifice for a diet that barely works!
Here is the best part of the diet. When the very first round of the diet is over, you will get a 3 days mini-break from the idiot proof diet. When you are on the 3 days cheat from the diet, you will get to indulge in ANY FOOD. I’m currently taking the break now and I’m absolutely enjoying myself!
Will I End Up Putting Back My Weight During the 3 Days Break?
If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.
Plus, during the 3 days of cheat during the diet, though I did eat some food than I shouldn’t have but I actually craved for fruits. Perhaps it was a habit cultivated from the 11 days of diet. Besides that, I don’t seem to have the appetite to eat too much due to the habit of eating 4 times a day.
My close circle of friends joined me in the weight loss diet and it yielded amazing results for all of us. We did’t end up wolfing down every unhealthy food we could find as we didn’t have to starve ourselves white we were on the diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.
So, the 3 days cheat is an absolutely fantastic aspect of the idiot proof diet…especially when it is someone like me. I really do not have much self-discipline so most of the time, I end up cheating in all my diet.
This is the first diet that I didn’t have to cheat. I was able to sail through the idiot proof diet and lost weight without much effort!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. The diet gives you lots of flexibility, allowing you to make your choice based on what you prefer.
Plus….you will be able to have night snacks!
Yes! I was completely elated when I saw that. I am a night owl and those normal diets will have me growling in hunger. I would be so hungry that I can’t even sleep well. Usually, I end up eating so much due to the hunger that it results in me eating more that I should have eaten.
And…You will get to drink wine!
I’m sorry if you think that you’ll be allowed to down bottles of beer down your throat per day. You will be able to enjoy your drinks, but not too much. A glass of wine each day would be alright.

Am I Suitable for the Diet?
It has really easy instructions to follow and the diet is easy for beginners who are looking for something to kick start their weight loss journey. It really is one idiot proof diet.
When you see how easy it is, you will understand how really anyone will be able to do it.
